The Spirit of the Lord is upon you; He has come into your life,

to lead you always to the Truth, in His tender radiant Light.

He touches you, empowers you, He is your Eternal Guide,

As you place your trust in Him, and in His Will abide.

The Holy Spirit within you dwells at this very special time,

to give you love and joy and peace, all fruits of God Divine.

Be generous, be faithful, be gentle, and controlled,

These gifts that live within you now, in time will all unfold.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon you, on your Confirmation Day,

May you always live within His Love,
