What You Are is God’s Gift to You;

What You Become is Your Gift to God

You’re such a very lovely boy in such a big, big world,

And in the sight of those around you’re like a precious pearl.

 A GIFT of God’s Creation, you were formed while He watched you grow

within the womb, where you found life, as His Son did long ago.

And time has not changed Mother Nature’s ways,

and nothing will change God’s Plan;

First a babe, then a child, He will watch you become a man —

 As He watched His One and Only Son, whom He sent upon this earth,

His Greatest Gift to humankind to which nothing can compare.

May you live your life in Jesus and share in the Love of His Light,

 And make yourself a pleasing gift, precious in His Sight.

Dearest child we wish you love, pure as flowers in the spring,

But we wish you Jesus, more than anything.

Offered with Love and Prayer,

Mommy and Daddy
